Images of different origin – from our own archive, taken from movies and other artists, etc. – were released from their individual contexts and reassembled in temporary installations. Here, this is done in the form of wallpapered laser prints. After the exhibition, the work is destroyed. In this constellation, the particular image gets its meaning out of the new contexts through new narrative forms. Questions on representation and on the role of photography in contemporary art were important for this work.

Bilder unterschiedlicher Herkunft – aus unserem eigenen Archiv, aus Filmen entnommen, von anderen Künstlern, etc. – lösen wir aus ihren Zusammenhängen und stellen sie in temporären Installationen neu zusammen. Dies geschieht hierbei in Form von an die Wand tapezierten Laser-drucken. Nach der Ausstellung wird die Arbeit zerstört. Seine Bedeutung gewinnt das Bild aus den neuen Kontexten, in die es gestellt wird. Für diese Arbeit waren Fragen zu Repräsentation und zur Rolle von Fotografie in der zeitgenössischen Kunst von Bedeutung.
