Each of the artists is showing in one separated store front window. In ours, a narrative relation is set up between the single elements and the viewer: a slide projection shows re-photographed images of a book about the Mississippi Delta, published in the 70s. The text is a collage of self written and appropriated texts (passages from the novel "The Invention of Morel" by Adolfo Bioy Casares, text fragments from the re-photographed book, paragraphs of newspaper articles about the oil spill "Deepwater Horizon" in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010, which affected the Mississippi-Delta). The projections in "The Invention of Morel" show most of all people, but also the nature (sun, moon). Our projection shows half tone reproductions of an "intact" nature. The display elements were made in context to the place.
 

Jeder der teilnehmenden Künstler hat eine separate Schaufenster-Auslage bespielt. In unserer wird ein narrativer Zusammenhang zwischen den einzelnen Elementen und dem Betrachter aufgebaut: eine Dia-Projektion zeigt refotografierte Bilder aus einem Buch, die das Mississippi-Delta in den 70er Jahren zeigen. Der Text stellt eine Collage aus selbstgeschriebenem und angeeignetem dar (Passagen aus dem Roman "Morels Erfindung" von Adolfo Bioy Casares, Textfragmente aus dem abfotografierten Buch, Absätze aus Zeitungsartikeln über die Ölkatastrophe der "Deepwater Horizon" im Golf von Mexiko in 2010, welche das Mississippi-Delta in Mitleidenschaft zog). Die Projektionen in "Morels Erfindung" zeigen vor allem Menschen, aber auch die Natur (Sonne, Mond). Unsere Projektion zeigt gerasterte Reproduktionen einer "intakten, wilden" Natur. Die Regalelemente sind in Auseinandersetzung mit dem Ort entstanden.
