Exhibition project in public space in Vienna. In a store front window, a narrative relation is set up between different elements and the viewer. A text (as poster) tells a story of glass and windows, of a not any more just natural nature, of power and mania, of oil and generators, of projections and hotels. The text is a collage of self written and appropriated texts (passages of the novel „The Invention of Morel“ by Adolfo Bioy Casares, of a book about the Mississippi Delta, of newspaper articles about the oil spill „Deepwater Horizon” in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010). The projections in „The Invention of Morel” show most of all people but also the nature (sun, moon). Our projection shows an utopian past, that seems to point at its own decomposition: the pictures of the slide projection are (in parts strongly) half tone reproductions of an „intact” nature, re-photographed of a book, that shows the Mississippi Delta in the 70s. The display elements were made in context to the place.

Ausstellungsprojekt im öffentlichen Raum in Wien. In einer Schaufenster-Auslage wird ein narrativer Zusammenhang zwischen verschiedenen Elementen und dem Betrachter aufgebaut. Ein Text (als Plakat) erzählt von Glas und Fenstern, von einer nicht mehr nur natürlichen Natur, von Gewalt und Wahn, von Öl und Lichtmaschinen, von Projektionen und Hotels. Der Text stellt eine Collage aus selbstgeschriebenem und angeeignetem dar (Passagen aus dem Roman Morels Erfindung von Adolfo Bioy Casares, aus einem Buch über das Mississippi-Delta, aus Zeitungsartikeln über die Ölkatastrophe der Deepwater Horizon im Golf von Mexiko in 2010). Die Projektionen in Morels Erfindung zeigen vor allem Menschen, aber auch die Natur (Sonne, Mond). Unsere Projektion zeigt eine utopische Vergangenheit, die zugleich auf ihre Auflösung hinzuweisen scheint: die Bilder der Dia-Projektion sind (zum Teil stark) gerasterte Reproduktionen einer „intakten, wilden” Natur, abfotografiert aus einem Buch, die das Mississippi-Delta in den 70er Jahren zeigen. Die Regalelemente sind in Auseinandersetzung mit dem Ort entstanden.
